Where you’ll stay in Colorado
In Vail, The Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail is at the base of Vail Mountain in Lionshead Village, with ski-in, ski-out access, a ski valet and Vail Sports’ rentals on site. After a day on the mountain there’s an outdoor heated pool, several whirlpool spas and a private lounge. Residences have gourmet kitchens and gas fireplaces.
In Avon, The Westin Riverfront Mountain Villas sits on the Eagle River, with the Riverfront Express Gondola to Beaver Creek Mountain. Villas have gas fireplaces, full kitchens and a washer and dryer, and guests can use Spa Anjali. Vail Village is about 15 minutes away, by car or by the free ski-season shuttle.
Both work all year: skiing in winter, and hiking, mountain biking and fly fishing in summer. Neither charges a resort fee.
Every stay is rented directly from an owner of the week. You don’t need a membership. One scowt handles your booking from your first question to check-in. Owners hold a villa type, such as a two-bedroom, not a set villa, so the resort assigns your villa when you arrive.
When to go
Winter, December to March, is for skiing and snowboarding. Summer, June to August, brings hiking, festivals and warm mountain weather.
In the busiest weeks, stays run 7 nights, weekend to weekend. Outside them, with enough notice, the minimum is 4 nights and check-in days are flexible. Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM.

Vail or Beaver Creek?
Vail for ski-in, ski-out at the base of Vail Mountain in Lionshead Village. Beaver Creek for the gondola from the Westin in Avon, about 15 minutes from Vail Village.
Can we rent skis at the resort?
Yes. Vail Sports rents skis and snowboards on site at The Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail, and Beaver Creek Sports does the same at The Westin Riverfront Mountain Villas.
Can I pick my villa or the view?
No. Owners hold a villa type, such as a two-bedroom, not a set villa or view. The resort assigns your villa at check-in, so no one can promise a view or a floor.
