Where you’ll stay in the Caribbean

On St. Thomas, Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove sits on a hillside over Pacquereau Bay, with direct beach access, an infinity-edge pool with a waterslide and a whirlpool spa. Morningstar Beach is half a mile away, and the shops and cafés of Charlotte Amalie are nearby. There are no resort fees, and self-parking is free.

On St. John, The Westin St. John Resort Villas covers 47 acres along Great Cruz Bay, with a 1,200-foot private beach, kayaking and paddleboarding, and a quarter-acre pool. The Westin Family Kids Club runs daily activities. Virgin Islands National Park is about 2 miles away, and Trunk Bay about 5.

Most guests reach St. John by ferry from St. Thomas.

Every stay is rented directly from an owner of the week. You don’t need a membership. One scowt handles your booking from your first question to check-in. Owners hold a villa type, such as a two-bedroom, not a set villa, so the resort assigns your villa when you arrive.

When to go

The best time to go is April to June, when the weather is warm and crowds are lighter than in the peak winter months.

In the busiest weeks, stays run 7 nights, weekend to weekend. Outside them, with enough notice, the minimum is 4 nights and check-in days are flexible. Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM.

Questions about the Caribbean

St. Thomas or St. John?

St. Thomas for Frenchman’s Cove, Morningstar Beach and Charlotte Amalie. St. John for the Westin’s private beach on Great Cruz Bay and Virgin Islands National Park, a ferry ride from St. Thomas.

How do we get to St. John?

Most guests take the ferry from St. Thomas. The Westin St. John Resort Villas offers a paid transfer package that covers the transfers by road and by ferry.

Can I pick my villa or the view?

No. Owners hold a villa type, such as a two-bedroom, not a set villa or view. The resort assigns your villa at check-in, so no one can promise a view or a floor.

Can I stay fewer than 7 nights?

Often, yes. In the busiest weeks, stays run 7 nights, weekend to weekend. Outside them, with enough notice, the minimum is 4 nights and check-in days are flexible. Tell your scowt your dates and we’ll check availability.
