Located in gorgeous San Diego county with it’s balmy climate, guests are within an easy drive of both the ocean and the mountains.. The 600 acre resort features a waterpark with waterslides and children’s’ interactive splash pads. Welk resort is ideally located to visit attractions like San Diego Zoo;s WIld Animal Park (20 minutes), LEGOLAND (25 minutes), San Diego’s Gaslamp District (35 minutes) Seaworld (40 minutes), Temecula Wineries, area casinos and some of the best beaches (30 minutes) in the world.
The Welk Resort Villa rentals include sitting and dining areas, complete kitchens with full cookware and dishware, patios or balconies, and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Parking is complimentary and there are no resort fees. Guests will experience casual dining at Canyon Grille restaurant or Pizza Hut Express, fun in the sun at Five Clubhouses featuring a colossal pool and seven large pools along with spas, two water slides, two kids’ splash pads and playgrounds, table games, catch and release fishing pond, hourly planned activities for all age groups, lighted tennis courts, and a relaxing round of golf on one of two 18 hole golf courses.

Wonderful location. Friendly staff. Excellent room. It was a nice way to spend Spring Break with the kids. No complaints!

We just completed a week in a two bedroom villa. The configuration of the space allowed for privacy and it was extremely well appointed and equipped. John was extremely responsive and very easy and pleasant to work with. We traveled with our young grandchildren who enjoyed the activities, but I did think the quality of the child based activities was mediocre. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I'd definitely recommend a stay at this resort and working with John.

Fabulous apartment, spacious, very well fitted out, huge balcony with dining table and chairs for all of us. Facilities on site were excellent- and loved the fact that pool tables were free, bats and balls provided for the table tennis, basketballs on loan for the courts. Body boards available to hire at low cost. Plenty to do and staff were very helpful. Only downside the pushy sales pitch to take out a time share. John was very helpful and responded very quickly in sorting our booking out
